There is a TikTok audio that goes “I think I was put on this earth to capture it. I don’t think I love the experience as much as I love documenting it. I love creating beautiful scenes. Showing people what I saw, exactly how I saw it.” That quote is a great way to describe my relationship with documentation and my camera. However, I do enjoy the experience just as much as I enjoy documenting it. I love documenting my memories to keep forever.

I always had a love for photography, but never bit the bullet to buy a camera. After my first big paycheck and as a gift to myself, I bought my first camera. It was the best decision I made for my creativity, photography has helped cure my creative burnout immensely.
